A team of University of Chester students are holding a ‘fun-filled’ teddy bears picnic in Helsby to raise money for charity.

Little Dreams Events are hosting the party in aid of Claire House Hospice at Helsby Pre-school on February 19.

The company was set up by Julia Emery, Laura Fairbrother, Jessica Higgs, Beth Williams and Maddie Williams, who are all in the second year of events management degrees at UoC.

Little Dreams team leader Beth said: “Having previously worked with Claire House, seeing the incredible work they do on a daily basis, I can speak for all of us and say we are committed to making this a memorable event for the children as well as raising awareness of the charity's amazing work.”

The idea is simple, register with littledreamsevents@outlook.com and create your child’s picnic pack by choosing a sandwich, fruit snack, crisps and a drink.

A teddy bear biscuit is also included and will be decorated and served on the day.

There will also be activities centred around a teddy bear hunt including face painting, story reading and arts and crafts.

Beth, Jessica, Julia, Laura and Maddie organised the event as part of their degree.
