A warehouse in Sandycroft has been surrounded by armed police in what appears to be an ongoing siege situation.
The incident is believed to have begun several hours ago, with officers surrounding units on the Chemistry Lane industrial area in the Deeside village.
Officers with guns are at the scene, as well as a number of ordinary patrols. A considerable area is cordoned off.
While the incident is believed to have begun earlier today (Monday, February 29), our sister title the Daily Post received reports that there were armed police spotted in the vicinity yesterday.
So far, North Wales Police is referring to the incident only as 'an ongoing' situation.
Eyewitnesses have reported seeing men on the roof of one building in the area.
