A Cheshire woman who has been treated for breast cancer took centre stage at the Manchester Debenhams store for a style makeover as part of the retailer’s support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Mum-of-two Claire Dickens, from Bunbury, received a stylish makeover from Aliza Reger, one of the designers at Debenhams.

Debenhams’ #GetBacktoYou campaign, with charity partner Breast Cancer Now, is helping women who are going through breast cancer treatment to feel fabulous again.

Kiran Gupta, corporate sponsorship manager at Breast Cancer Now, said: “We’re so thrilled that Debenhams is helping women get back to their normal selves, this is a great campaign and will help so many women.

“Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK, one in eight women will face it in their lifetime, and nearly 700,000 people living in the UK today have experienced a diagnosis, so it’s important that we do whatever we can to support these women.”

Claire is part of Breast Cancer Now’s Pink Ribbon Ball Manchester committee.
