Former Chester businessman Rob Lloyd has spoken out following his split from Real Housewives of Cheshire star Ester Dee.

Rob, who once owned Peckforton based Rob Lloyd Racing and Eatonfield Group plc before hitting financial difficulties in 2010, has hit back after Ester confirmed their split in the final episode of the ITVBe reality show saying he regrets appearing on the show with his ex-partner.

Ester caused shockwaves in the fifth series when she revealed that, as well as being engaged to Rob, she was married to millionaire John Temple.

Calling the situation “farcical” Rob says he is now focusing on their two-year-old daughter Bertie.

Rob, who appeared on Channel 4’s The Secret Millionaire in 2009, spoke to our sister paper the Manchester Evening News.

He said: “She was with me and married to someone else. I’m so angry with this situation, it’s farcical.

“Out of this has come a beautiful little girl but the way I’ve been treated is terrible.

“I found out that she was married the day after my daughter’s wedding in September last year and it came as a complete surprise. I didn’t even know she was married.

“As far as I’m concerned going on the programme has not done me any good.”

Property developer Rob has had his share of ups and downs, having lost his £36m fortune when the recession hit in 2010, but has since made a comeback.

He said: “We got together when I was on my b***side. It wasn’t as if she was after my money at the time so I’ve got to give credit where it’s due.”

Czech-born Ester, who joined series five as a new Housewife, stunned her co-stars after admitting to cheating, and her tangled love-life became the cause of tension between the women with fashion boss Seema Malhotra branding her “greedy.”

Fellow Real Housewife Leanne Brown asked Ester: “So you’re married, but not Rob?”

To which Ester replied: “I do not cheat on Rob, I cheat WITH Rob.”

In the final “at home” show presented by Brian Dowling she revealed that she has split from Rob and has moved out of their Macclesfield home and is now on a “trial period” with her 61-year-old husband, who has not featured in the show.

When Brian grilled her on her situation the former lapdancer and personal trainer replied: “I made the perfect man from two men.”

She explained: “Rob is the father of my baby, he’s going to look after her as a father, but me and Rob won’t see each other as partners anymore.”

Asked about her husband, Ester confirmed: “He is still part of my life, we are on a trial period.”

And when Brian said: “So you’re not single? You’re not looking for anyone else?

She laughed and said: “No”.
