Eighties chart-toppers Roxette have cancelled their planned gig at Tatton Park this summer.
Managers for the Swedish pop duo said they were 'sad' to confirm the 30th Anniversary concert, due to take place on Friday, July 29, had been cancelled as vocalist Marie Fredrikkson has been advised by her doctors to refrain from touring.
Everyone who had already purchased a ticket to see Roxette at Tatton Park can claim a full refund by going directly to the ticket agent they bought the tickets through.
Another performer will be announced for that date in due course and if anyone wanted to transfer their ticket to that concert, they will be able to.
So far, other artists, Tom Jones and The Halle, are still due to go ahead with their performances on July 28 and 30.
Roxette singer Marie said: "It’s been an amazing 30 years. I feel nothing but joy and happiness when I look back on the Roxette world tours. All our shows and memories over the years will forever be a big part of my life. I’m particularly proud and grateful for coming back in 2009 after my severe illness and to have been able to take Roxette around the globe a couple of more times.
"Sadly, now my touring days are over and I want to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful fans that have followed us on our long and winding journey."
