What is Red Nose Day?
Red Nose Day runs once every two years and is the main event held by charity Comic Relief. On the years when it is not running, a Sport Relief day takes place.
People across the UK work together to raise life saving cash by holding cake sales and fancy dress days at schools and workplaces.
In the evening, there is several hours worth of television entertainment designed to further boost the fundraising total.
Comic Relief spends the money raised by Red Nose Day to help people living in tough conditions across the UK and Africa.
How can I get involved?
For the 2015 Red Nose Day people are being encouraged to make their face look funny for money.
Members of the public can buy one of the nine new noses, be sponsored to paint their face or let their kids do their make-up.
