Chester Zoo ’s award-winning dinosaurs are to make a sensational return this summer.
It’s been four years since the impressive collection of life-like dinosaurs was last in Chester, and from May 28- September 4 they’re back at the tourist attraction and zoo staff have promised that they will be fiercer than ever, having been worked on for two years.
Visitors can expect an ‘exhilarating’ journey back to the Jurassic age when the gigantic creatures roamed and ruled the earth, where you’ll be able to walk amongst the predators and their prey, ‘not knowing what’s lurking around the corner’.
Dominic Strange, Head of Commercial Operations at Chester Zoo said: “We’ll have our largest and most fearsome collection of dinosaurs so far, including the Giganotosaurus, one of the biggest carnivores of all, Utahraptor with his curved claws and feathery limbs, and the gentle giant, the plant eating Brachiosaurus.
“We know that our visitors love dinosaurs and that kids can’t get enough of the amazingly life like creations that we’ve had here in previous years.
“After two years of work on new, bigger and better dinosaurs we’re confident that they won’t disappoint. We can’t wait to see the reaction on the faces of the children that visit.”
