Widnes narrowly lost out in this friendly with West Park.
They fell behind to an early try before levelling things up when winger Kyle McGreevey went over after a clever pass from Chris Morgan.
Following good defence by Gavin Hatton and Phil Harrison, Widnes grabbed the lead as centre John Parker dummied over from 20 metres.
The lead was reduced 10 minutes later, when West Park kicked a penalty and then snatched victory with a try in the closing minutes.
