MOORE'S all-round domination of their Lancashire opponents was clear from the outset.

The home forwards and backs were far superior and combined well from the promptings of G Potter and Beddard at half-back.

The first score followed quick ball from the pack - N Potter crossing for G Potter to convert.

Another good sequence was finished off powerfully by I Carroll and before the game was 20 minutes old, N Potter had scored another three tries all converted by G Potter for Moore to lead by 33-0.

At this point, the hosts eased off to lose much of their penetration and Ormskirk saw their opportunity.

There were no further scores by the break but just afterwards, a sloppy Moore pass was intercepted for the visitors to go under the posts and add the conversion.

Play was more even but the Moore side showed glimpses of their earlier sharpness.

A good forwards sequence saw Butler cross the line. Then substitute M Woollacott took a fine pass to beat the defence to the corner and round off a satisfying afternoon for Moore.
