BEBINGTON'S run of success in the North Hockey League has given them a seven-point lead in Division Two West and they were comfortable 3-1 winners over Cheetham Heywood at the Belle Vue centre last week.
Bebington played controlled hockey throughout the game, Mark Wilkie and Richard Little scoring first-half goals in open play and Glen Costain converting a penalty corner 10 minutes from the end.
Injuries continue to plague Bebington and John McMullen had to retire to hospital for stitches in the second half after a clash of sticks.

Fraser Eaton seemed certain to equalise for Oxton near the end but his fierce shot rebounded off Simon Hibbert's foot and Rotherham collected three points.
