A VICTORY against Rochdale continued Chester's incredible 11-game winning run and kept them at the top of the table.

Jonathan Clark made short work of Graham Tatlock in a 3-0 win while Mike Waight had the toughest match of the evening as he beat Steve Cummings 3-0.

Steve Coppinger again looked awesome as he destroyed Rochdale's Paul Bolton in 20 minutes and Alister Walker was just too good for Rochdale's number one Mike Pearson.

Nick Taylor made it five with his 3-0 defeat of Tom Javanaud.

Chester next have a home fixture against local rivals Warrington but with the national league clashing with the North West Counties fixtures, only Nick Taylor will be available for Chester which could make it an interesting evening. The match starts at 7.30pm at Hare Lane.

Chester seconds completed a hard-fought 4-1 victory at home to Dragons Southport who, until that defeat, were second in the table.
