AN Ellesmere Port woman did herself proud when she represented Great Britain at the ITU World Triathlon Championships in Honolulu, Hawaii.
City of Chester Triathlon Club's Jan Morgan, 54, faced stiff competition as she tackled the 1.5km ocean swim, 40km bike and 10k run in sweltering conditions.
And she overcame the unfamiliar climate to produce a fine performance to finish in 3.21.00.
