SCHOOLBOY racer Seb Morris continued his fantastic form at the weekend, racking up his sixth and seventh wins of the Ginetta Junior Championship season at Oulton Park.

The victories increased an already substantial lead in the driver standings for the 15-year-old King’s School pupil, who has now won seven of the first eight rounds.

He amassed a near-perfect 73 points over the course of the weekend and set a new lap record at his home circuit.

Morris, who is from Marford, Wrexham, said: “Oulton is my favourite circuit.

“It’s where I feel most comfortable, and I’m able to do quick laps every lap.

“It’s been a really fantastic weekend again.”

The Hillspeed team racer was imperious in qualifying on Saturday, securing pole position for rounds seven and eight by margins of 0.7 and 0.8 seconds.

Registering a new lap record of one minute and 42.55 seconds (78.13mph) in his first race, Seb cruised to victory with an incredible 8.8-second advantage over his nearest rival.

During Sunday’s racing, he stormed to another win, taking first place in the eight-lap race by a stunning 23 seconds.

The next two rounds take place on June 18 and 19 at Croft Circuit in North Yorkshire.
