OULTON Park has unveiled a busy programme of six major events for its 2011 season, including two visits from the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship.
A record-breaking crowd of 45,000 flocked to the Tarporley circuit for the 2010 BSB title showdown, which saw HM Plant Honda’s Ryuichi Kiyonari overturn a 15-point deficit to snatch his third riders’ title from Worx Crescent Suzuki rival Tommy Hill.
Oulton Park will host two British Superbike rounds in 2011, starting with a party in the park over the Royal wedding weekend (April 30/May 1&2) before BSB returns to Cheshire for a summer showdown on July 15-17.
Four-wheel fans can also enjoy action from Britain’s three biggest domestic car racing championships next season, including the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship’s annual Oulton Park pilgrimage on June 4/5.
There will also be a double headline encounter from multimillion supercars and rising single-seater stars when the British F3 and GT Championships race at the Tarporley circuit over Easter weekend (April 23/25).
Other highlights include the Modified Live performance car show on April 16, and the Gold Cup over August Bank Holiday weekend.
