MEMBERS of Upton-by-Chester Golf Club joined in celebration at an awards evening.
More than 70 of the club’s young stars, parents and guests gathered to recognise the achievements of the year at the club’s annual junior dinner and prize night.
All the major trophies were presented and outgoing junior captain Jonathan Galletley handed over the reins to James White, who gave a welcoming speech.
Upton’s junior organiser Jenny Turner was delighted with the turnout.
She said: “Congratulators go to all our winners and to our incoming junior captain.”
