ATHLETICS: LOUISE Woodward proved the star of the show on Sunday after winning a place in the county multi-events squad.
The West Cheshire AC U15 member will be competing in the Cheshire Schools' team next month after contributing towards the county's victory in the North West Regional Championships staged at Telford earlier in the season.
Louise, who was crowned long jump and sprint hurdles champion at this year's Cheshire County Schools' Championships, staged at Macclesfield, is currently preparing for her appearance.

Saturday sees the Terry Davies Memorial Track and Field Meeting taking place at Warrington's Victoria Park; and the AAA U15 and U17 Championships take place on Saturday and Sunday at Don Valley Stadium, Sheffield.
The Capenhurst Multi-Terrain Three-Person Team Event takes place from the EA Technology complex at Capenhurst, near Chester, on Thursday, August 21 from 6pm.
