WEST Cheshire AC’s youngsters are heading for the end of season North West Sportshall League Finals after a series of impressive performances.
The Ellesmere Port club won five of the six age group competitions at their penultimate round held at Deeside College, Connah's Quay.
Hannah Bennett, Alice Barnsley, Alice Woodward, Charlotte Forrest, Molly Walters, Saskia Clarke, Maggie Corr, Hannah Salvi, Emma Howe, Abbie Williams, Beth McMahon and Sophie Hemingborough combined to earn the under 11 girls team victory.
Charlotte Williamson, Georgia Barlow, Samhilda Megonigle, Olivia Williams, Sophie Baker, Emily Ball, Megan McEveley, Sophie Carter, Amy Williams, Sophie Davis, and Toni Lammond joined forces for the victorious under 11 girls.
Megonigle, Barlow, Williamson, and Amy Williams teamed up for a sprint relay victory after Amy (23.4) and Williamson (23.8) had clocked winning two lap times.
Ball (1:28.7) and McEveley (1:30.4) won their six lap races, while Baker (79) and Barlow (73) won in the speed bounce.
Amy Williams (6.86m) and McEveley (6.08m) celebrated achieving triple jump wins.
Ball (2.15m) won the standing long jump and then teamed up with Amy Williams (8.11m) to win the B shot (8.04m).
Kelly Baker, Olivia Montez Brown, Laura Rigby, Sophie Percival, and Ellen McMahon grabbed glory for the Under 15 girls team after Montez-Brown, Baker, Percival, and Rigby had clinched a relay success.
Montez-Brown (23.3 and 1:21.8) teamed up for two and six lap victories alongside Rigby (23.6) and 1:22.8), and then hit 7.16m in the standing triple jump and 2.37m in the standing long jump alongside Baker (6.38m/standing jump and 2.11m/standing long jump).
Baker won the shot with 11.04m alongside B winner, Percival (8m), and Baker scored 73 in the speed bounce partnering McMahon with 68.
Cameron Weaver, Jack Johnson, Chris Harrop, Toby Hulse, Matthew Pagan, James McMahon, Daniel Vickers, and Elijah Montez-Brown combined for an under 13 boys team victory.
McMahon won the standing long jump (2.12m), vertical jump (47), and shot (9.33m), and then teamed up with Pagan, Vickers, and Harrop for a relay win.
Vickers (23.9) and Pagan (24.0) won in the two lap, while Pagan won the
speed bounce with 83 alongside Hulse (70).
Vickers then claimed B victories in standing long jump (2m) and vertical jump (46), and Harrop won the B shot (5.92m).
Yousef Khalifa, Leon Langmead, Chris McCartney and Joel Langmead crowned their under 15 boys team win with a fine sprint relay victory.
Taylor Kearns, Eamonn O'Connell, Tom Harrop, Paul Morrison, Joseph Morrison, Sam Grinter, and Evan Roberts combined for the under 11 boys who finished in second team spot.
