ALBION regained the Run-corn Apec Taxis Darts League Section One title with a 6-3 victory over Dock Lads.
Nick Hough had a 19-dart finish as they clinched the championship in the final round of matches.
Runners-up Halfway A finished in style with a comfortable 8-1 victory over bottom team Red Admiral.
Steve Roberts, Steve Whitfield and John Hale finished in 14, 15 and 18 darts respectively.
Navvy sealed third place, beating Lion Doo Waps 5-4. Peter Murphy produced a 110 finish for the winners and Tony Jones a maximum for the Lion team.
Clarry B slipped a place to fourth, relinquishing a 4-0 lead when losing 5-4 to Halfway Gents.
Mike O'Dwyer finished in 18 darts in Roundhouse's 5-4 win against Tranny Lads (Rob War-brick 177).
Halfway Mixed are the new Section Two champions after being promoted this season.
They were pushed all the way by Navvy Lads before winning 5-4. Bill Randles scored a maximum for the title winners.
Union Tap, having led for most of the season, are runners-up after a 6-3 win over Outcasts (John Taylor 100 finish).
Tricorn and open-dated RAOB finished joint third.
Welly took the Section Three championship in comprehensive fashion, beating Burma 8-1, Peter Holmes and Dave Leather finishing in 16 and 18.
Pavilions, the runners-up, defeated Union Tavern 6-3 to end level on points with the champions. Third-placed Prospect Has Beens (Carl Bourque 18 darts) came from 4-2 down for a 5-4 win over Total Confusion.
Already Section Four champions, Tranny Rovers (Alan Fox 114 finish) rounded off with a 7-2 victory over Castle Knights.
Quayside took the runners-up spot, 'whitewashing' Royal Oak Aces 9-0. Third-placed The Tup defeated Nil Points 6-3. Alfie's Arrows failed to show against fourth-placed Jolly Brewer while fifth-placed Bennett's Boys ran out 6-3 winners against Raven. nFRIDAY'S first-round matches in the Individual Competition saw the remaining 128 players competing for the last 32 places. Several players failed to appear but Steve Allan (Tranny Lads) won through in three legs, finishing two in 17 darts and the other in 19.
Ian Darlington (Navvy) had legs of 17, 18 and 19 darts.
Peter Murphy (Navvy) and Stuart Bousfield (Red Admiral) scored maximums and Steve Roberts (Halfway A) a 127 finish. nA SECRETARIES' meeting will be held next Wednesday (February 28) at the War Memorial Club at 7.30pm when registration forms for the 2007 Summer League will be distributed - emphasising the importance of all teams being represented. nNEXT Thursday (March 1) the Town Championship and Executive Competition get under way and these will be followed on the Friday, March 2 by the Chairman's Challenge Cup semi-finals.
