Twenty-four junior children from Newton Primary School took part in the Essar West Cheshire AC Schools Cross Country Race in Ellesmere Port.
Year 3 and 4 children ran 0.8 km and Year 5 and 6 children 1.2km.
Particular congratulations go to Jessica Hennessey who finished second in the Year 4 girls’ race, Harriet Ornsby who was fifth in the Year 3 girls’ race and Harvey Foster who was sixth in the Year 4 boys’ race.
