Chester Allstars under 11s were in giant-killing form when they travelled to Manchester City’s multi million pound Etihad Academy Complex.

They defeated City’s u11s 4-2 thanks to a superb hat-trick from the impressive Joe Walters and one from Josh Watkin late on.

The Chester-based squad, made up from the best youngsters from the city’s primary schools, have been playing and training together as one elite squad since September, notching up some impressive performances along the way.

Head coach Sean Johnson said: “Their belief and attitude grew throughout the game. This was their best performance yet.”

The Allstars will soon defend their ESFA North West Champions Cup against Liverpool Schools FA and, in March, will represent Cheshire in the ESFA North England finals.
