CHARLIE Tice scored twice as Chester Nomads held Vicars Cross to an exciting 3-3 draw in the Under 11s Olympic Trophies Division.
Vicars Cross had the edge initially and took a 2-0 lead. In the second half, Tice hit a curling shot into the top right-hand corner and a short while later Tom Chrimes levelled the score with a poacher’s goal from six-yards.
Although Vicars Cross then hit back with a long-range effort, Tice let rip with a screamer shortly before the final whistle to earn a draw.
Chester Nomads Colts drew 3-3 with Upton Blacks. Ben Johnson (2) and Sam Gareh scored for Colts.
In Division Two, Westminster Park Panthers defeated Upton 10-2. Panthers’ goals came from Jordan Swift, Liam Plevin (2), Jordan Derbyshire (2) and man-of-the-match Ryan Ike McHugh (5).
Upton won by the odd goal in nine at Saughall in the U12s Olympic Trophies Division. Despite Saughall strikes from Macauley Newall, MoM Aiden Heap (2) and Henry Makings, Upton won 5-4 with goals from hat-trick hero Danny Evans, Toby Venables and Josh Dymond.
Princes VillaŠlost 8-2 at home to Boughton. Alex Garner led the scorers with four, followed by Rhys Dowington (2), Callum Woods and Sion Brisbane.
Park Saints saw off Westminster Park 7-0 in their derby clash with goals from Martyn Lloyd (3), Danny Williams (2), Yuseph Bakir and Joe Williams. Westminster Park MoM was Lewis Smith.
Saughall Colts beat Waverton 4-1 in the U13s R&G Logistics Ltd Division. Rowan Brooks scored for Waverton but MoM Luke Diamond got four goals for Colts.
Park Saints ran out 3-0 winners over Pulford, Jake Williams, John Morgan and Lloyd Stanley all finding the net. MoM for Saints was Tadgh Gregory, while Pulford’s was Pat Hanratty.
In Division Two, Westminster Park Warriors registered a 6-1 win at home to Hope Farm. Warriors’ Duaine Meacock got a hat-trick with Ben McGrail, Jack Eite and Jake Venables also on target.
Two goals from MoM Lloyd Smith and strikes from Adam Butt and Liam Smith took Chester Nomads Colts to a 4-2 win over Newton Athletic.
Blacon won 10-1 against Tattenhall in the U14s Division. Connor Dignam got Tattenhall’s goal from the penalty spot. MoM was Finlay Pilkington.
In Division Two, Blacon Youth White slipped to a 7-3 defeat against Bunbury. Augustine Bangura, Liam Lloyd and MoM Perry Harley all netted for Blacon but there were replied by Alex Caldwell, Sam Jones, Peter Hoxworth, Owen Dawson (3).
Chester Nomads U12s sailed into the semi-finals of the Ellesmere Port Junior Knockout Cup with a 6-0 win over Neston Nomads. MoM James Shaw (3), Callum Evington,Mitchell Mowatt and Jack Rogers did the damage.
In the U13s quarter-final of the same competition Chester Nomads beat Rossway United 12-0.
MoM Eddie Charles-Jones bagged five with Stuart Swift (4), Ally Walker, Joe Houghton and Luke Murphy also on the scoresheet.
