HOLIDAY INN Ellesmere Port Sunday League Premier Division leaders Castrol Tessuti progressed to their second cup final of the season after beating Vauxhall in the Stan Dukes Memorial Cup semi-finals.
They needed penalties to kill off the Motormen after 90 minutes and extra-time had produced a 0-0 stalemate.
Alan Schumaker, Dave Cockram, Steve Morgan and Gary O'Reilly were Tessuti's successful spotkickers, with only Gordon Pugh and John Farrell managing to score for the losers.
The other semi was another nailbiting affair which also went to extra-time. This time a single goal from Phil Selby settled the issue between AFC Octel and FC Mere-brook in Octel's favour.
St Saviours produced the joker in the pack in Andy Dykes who netted all four goals to set his side up for a fine 4-2 win over Premier Division title contenders, The Woodlands.
In Division One, Danny Hughes's hat-trick meant Phoenix savoured a 3-0 result at King Kabs.
