CHRISTLETON warmed up for tomorrow's visit to second-placed Vauxhall Motors Reserves with a free-scoring win over Division One strugglers Run-corn Town on Saturday.
Richie Smart led the way with a double while Andy Sheldon, Paul Hallows and Shaun O'Rourke also got in on the act.
Christleton were due in action on Monday, facing Ellesmere Port in the Cheshire FA Amateur Cup semi-finals at Rivacre Park, but the match was postponed due to an unfit pitch.

Colin Singleton (2), Phil Hughes and Gary Richards netted for the visitors.
The derby between Upton AA reserves and MBNA in Division Three was settled 3-0 in Upton's favour, courtesy of efforts from John Cadwallader, Martin McGrath and Dave Roberts.
Inspired by five-goal hitman Nathan Mapletoft, St Werburgh's romped home 7-1 against Bronze Social. Further goals from Alan Richardson and Danny Radford completed the statistics and Paul Coventry replied for Bronze.
On Monday, Saints' winning sequence was interrupted by Upton, who fielded several first teamers in a 2-1 win. Chris Melia gave Saints the lead, but Dave Roberts equalised and Dave Stevenson plundered Upton's winner.
