SAXON'S retained the Mid Cheshire FA Sunday Cup at the weekend but they were made to wait until extra time for their winner by underdogs Wharf.

James Thomas was the Saxon's hero as the clocked ticked towards the 100th minute after First Division Wharf had turned in a battling performance.
