CHESTER have the chance to record their fourth double of the season tonight when they travel to the east coast to face Grimsby Town at Blundell Park.
City won the reverse fixture 2-1 last October thanks to a brace of goals from Michael Branch.
But the ex-Everton striker is currently suffering from a hamstring injury, and must be considered extremely doubtful for this evening's game.
Chester's recent mini-revival came to an end last Saturday when they were beaten 2-0 at home to lead-ers Yeovil Town, but City manager Ian Rush hopes his side can take the positives from the weekend game. "There were a number of good points that came out of that Yeovil match.
"Robbie Foy blended in extremely well, and showed us the ability that we know he possesses, whilst Ashley Sestanovich also made an impact when he came on."
Rush continued: "Grimsby can be a phsyical side, so we will have to match them in that department. "We have had them watched on a number of occasions and we know that we will be in for quite a game."
Chester will definitely be without defenders Darren Edmondson (suspended) and Phil Bolland (ankle).
