MOND Rangers are the first senior football team in Halton to attain FA Charter Standard.
The award recognises things such as the constitution of the club, acceptance of codes of conduct and child protection, commitment to coach and player training, equal opportunities and community links.
Benefits include access to grants and subsidies, awards and use of the Charter Standard crest.
Meanwhile, Mond have received an undisclosed sum from Cheshire FA for reaching last season's county amateur cup quarter-finals and, with it, exemption until round two in 2004-05.
The club's pre-season schedule includes the visit of Runcorn FC Halton on Thursday, July 29 (ko 6.45pm). The other games (ko 3pm unless stated) are: JULY - Sat 17, Ashton Athletic (A); Sat 24 Ellesmere Port (A); Sat 31 Halewood Town (A) and Daten (H); AUGUST - Wed 4, Middlewich (H), 6.45pm; Sat 7 Mallaby (H) and Clock Face (A).
Management teams are now in place with Gary Moore, last season's General Chemicals manager, as second-team boss.
Pre-season training, run by Gary Lewis of the Liverpool FC Academy, is on Tuesdays, Thursdays (6.45pm) and Saturdays (2pm) at Pavilions, Sandy Lane, Weston Point. New players are welcome.
