COMMERCIAL now boast the only 100% record in the darts section of the Carlsberg-Tetley Crewe Open League after winning their top-ofthe-table Premier Division clash with Delamere.

Rob Arrowsmith hit a 15-dart leg and a 180 maximum for Delamere, but it was not enough as Commercial registered a 5-3 victory.

Pioneers jumped into second spot after inflicting a first defeat on Vine A. Captain Pete Boughey set Pi's on their way to a 6-2 win with a 15-dart leg and a 120 finish, while John Speed and John Copper were also in good form. Vine's hotshot was Mick Hassall with an 18-dart leg.

Other top marksmen in the division were Steve Hassall (Polish A) with a 126 finish, Ian Beecroft (South St Snkr) 18 darts and Mick Lewis (Flying Lady) 17 darts.

In Division One, leaders Rockwood lost their unbeaten record and drop to third following a 7-1 thrashing at the hands of Bridge C, who move into second spot. Damien Weaver was Rock-wood's only winner after hitting 20 and 18-dart legs with a 113 checkout. Hawk took over at the top after an 8-0 whitewash of struggling West End RAOB A, with Tony Myatt hitting a 19-darter and Lee Cole a 16-darter.

Malcolm Griffin (Amal A), Paul Guennel (Hop Pole) and Chris Wodley (Kings A) were also in good form at the oche.

Division Two has new leaders in Amalgamated B following a 6-2 win over Sydney B, who fall into bottom spot. Cross Keys drop to second after being held to a 4-4 draw by Bridge A, who remain two points adrift in third.

Julian Woolford hit a novel 75 checkout, with a 25 followed by the bull, for British Lion A in a 4-4 draw at Woodside. Other players on the mark were Garth Clyne (Nantwich Road) with a 180 maximum and Steve Dooley (British Lion B) a 104 finish.

Leisure Club went top of Division Three after trouncing Liberal A 7-1 to go two points clear of Kings Arms B, who fall to second after losing 5-3 to The Monkey.

Division Four pacesetters Broughton Arms maintained their unbeaten re-cord despite being held to a 4-4 draw by Earl of Chester, whose top marksman was Paul Hickton with a 20-darter.

North Ward moved up to second after a 5-3 win at Vine B and Martin Bostock hit a 21-darter to help Nags Head B up to third on the back of a 5-3 defeat of Liberal B.

In the dominoes section, Polish A took over at the top from Belle Vue, while Kings A stretched their lead in Division One to three points after hammering Hop Pole 7-1.

Division Two pacesetters are Bridge A and Nantwich Road, who are level on points after respective wins over Cross Keys and British Lion B.

LMR B are still leading the way in Division Three after a 6-2 win over West End RAOB B, while Nags Head B are the only unbeaten team in Division Four after registering an 8-0 whitewash of second-placed Liberal B.
