MIDFIELDER Jean-Jacques Gosso has admitted reports linking him with a move to Everton are flattering, but says he is yet to receive an offer from Goodison Park.
The Ivory Coast man, who plays his football in Turkey with Orduspor, has been touted as a potential target for David Moyes this summer.
The ECHO understands the Blues are yet to make a formal offer to either Orduspor or Gosso, however.
The 29-year-old, though, says he would welcome a move to the Premier League, and believes his all-action style would fit in well on Merseyside.
“I am very interested if there is an option for me in England,” said Gosso.
“My dream has always been to play in the Premier League and prove myself against midfielders and strikers at the top level.
“Everton? They are a fantastic team.
“I know David Moyes likes players who put a shift in, so if he is interested in me, like I am hearing, that means I must be doing something right.
“Everton are one of the biggest clubs in England, but I have heard nothing official as yet. At the moment I am still in France waiting for pre-season to start."
