NANTWICH Town U13s enjoyed a goal-fest as they walloped Woodcroft FC 7-1. Nathan Cotterell (3), Adam Vickers (2), Josh Wilkinson and Liam Clews all got in on the scoring act, in the Cheadle and District League.
The U15s won 4-1 against Cheadle Town. Zak Moores grabbed a double, while Steve Pattinson and Tom Gerrard were on target. Josh Lane plundered a hat-trick as the U12s beat Cheadle Town 8-1.
In the South Cheshire Youth League, Nantwich's U13s B drew 2-2 with Alsager Town, with goals from Jacob Murray and Tyler Minshull.
Will Morgan-Wynn bagged a hat-trick and Tom Collins and Lewis Morley were also on target as the U9 Diablos won 5-3 against Sandbach Eagles in the Crewe Alex Soccer Centre League.
The U8 Diablos game against Alsager Town Black finished goalless, while the U8 Dabbers suffered their first defeat against X Team in a 1-0 reverse.
The U9 Dynamo's were 4-1winners against Wistaston United B. Jamie Oakes led the way with a hat-trick and Aidan Noble also scored.
Jordan Wain's goal was a mere consolation as the U10 Dabbers went down 4-1 to SLB United, and the U10 Diablos lost 6-4 to Wistaston United despite a hat-trick from Scott Lowe and one from Jordan Rigby
The U10 Dynamo's won 5-1against Alsager Celtic. Scott Burdekin was yet another hat-trick hero, with Eddie Yoxall and Lucas Haslam also netting.
In the Crewe and District FA Youth Cup, the U17/18s lost 4-2 to Crewe FC, despite a brace of goals from Duncan McCann.
Boys and girls, of ages five-11, can attend Nantwich's community football sessions every Saturday from 9.30-11am. They take place at Malbank School and Wrenbury School.
