CHESTER FC striker Michael Wilde is out of tonight’s rearranged all-ticket clash at Chorley (7.45pm).

Wilde has suffered a recurrence of his groin problem and is also likely to sit out the final game of the season at home to Marine on Saturday.

Neil Young will also be without long-term injury victim Matty McNeil and the suspended Michael Powell this evening.

Chester’s last visit to Chorley – in February last year – was marred by serious crowd trouble inside and outside of Victory Park.

But with his side already crowned champions and the fourth-placed Magpies play-offs bound, Blues boss Young is hoping tonight’s encounter will be remembered for the right reasons.

He said: “We’ll be taking a big crowd with us after we sold our tickets a while back so it’s a case of us making sure we go out there and do our job.

“I think we have to put what happened last year aside and move on. Chorley are a good side with a good following and all that matters is that come the end we’re talking about the football.

“We’ve done our job and they’ll be looking to do their job over the next fortnight or so.”
