CORNER Pin LG came from behind to set up a Chester & District FA Sunday Cup final against Vicars Cross Dynamos.

Holders Pin (Lee Highfield, Graham Young) fought back to win 2-1 at home to a Saltney Ferry side who also finished the semi-final tie with 10 men.

Favourites Vicars Cross (Todd Reid, Chris Williams, Liam Gough, Nathan Freeman) won 4-2 at FC Blacon (Scott Chard, Wayne Elliott).

Watergates broke their Chester & District Sunday League Concorde Trophies Section A duck at the 15th attempt with a 1-0 home victory over Upton Youth Club.

Dale Harris, with the only goal of the game, and Andy Borbely, with a second-half penalty save, were the Watergates heroes.

Rock-bottom Tarvin Rex (Chad Boyce 3, Andy Cushing, Gordon Piggin, Richie Edwards) also won, 6-3 at home to Dee Rangers.

Elton moved back to the top of Chester Chronicle Section B with a 3-1 home win over FC Bull & Stirrup.

Danny Jarrett, Richard Keen and Mark Dundon shared the strikes but Elton’s success owed as much to goalkeeper Jason Edwards, who impressed on his first appearance in 12 months.

AFC Werburgh’s (Michael Firrett, Darren Jones) stayed third with a 2-0 home triumph over AFC Hilton, while at the other end, St Theresa’s PC (Steve Dee, Louis Jennaway 2) won 3-2 at home to Tattenhall.
