In Division Two, Andy Mitchell's goal was not enough as Helsby succumbed to visitors City Bar 2-1.

n Monday saw Frodsham United earn a 3-0 win at Blacon Youth A in the Premier Division.

Dave Pye, Mark Southall and Barry Bewes were all on target for Frodsham.

Highfield Athletic put four past Newton Celtic thanks to a Scott Broadbent brace and goals from Les John and Paul Joiner.
