BARNTON won a dramatic President's Cup tie - their third success in four games under Mark Came - in virtual darkness.
The League had instructed a 2.30pm kick off, which proved an error as the tie wound its way through extra time and to penalties, in which Warrington missed three on the trot to hand victory to the home side.
Shaun Came headed Barnton in front from a Jason Crellin corner, Warrington equalised but Mike Gunn fired the hosts back in front before half-time.
Warrington had a man sent off 10 minutes into the second half and yet took command though they only drew level from the penalty spot with five minutes remaining.
In the 90th minute Barnton were also awarded a penalty, but Dave Tasker mishit the spot kick and the ball trickled wide.
Barnton were the better side in extra time and in the final minute Tasker received his second yellow card and an accompanying red.
Also in the President's Cup, MIDDLEWICH RES went down 1-0 at Gol-borne Res, but LOSTOCK GRALAM won a thriller 5-4 at Monk Sports. Daten 0 Middlewich Town 4: Middlewich played with freedom in putting on a second-half surge to reach the Division One Cup semi-finals.
Mike Brandon gave Middlewich an early lead, but they did not start to dominate proceedings until some harsh words had been spoken by assistant boss Mike Alcock at half-time.
After the resumption they could easily have scored six but settled for three, Brandon rounding off his hat-trick and Joey Roberts completing an easy victory.
Holders Town were drawn at Bollington in the semi-finals.
Witton Albion Youth 5 Eagle Sports Reserves 0: With first team boss Jim Vince watching Albion and with Gary Furnival making his first start since Easter and with newly-signed midfielder Craig Fleury - Albion romped home in the Reserves Division.
Jason Lord gave Albion a half-time lead and netted on the hour after which an Alex Dunne double and substitute Oliver Park completed the rout.
But inbetween goals four and five Eagle managed to hit the crossbar, albeit from the penalty spot.

WINNINGTON Ave Res recorded only their second win of the season in the Crewe & District League when goals by Darren Hayes and Aaron Davies gave them a 2-1 home win against Sandbach Town.
