Cheshire Phoenix slipped to their third home defeat of the season as they lost 84-93 against Plymouth Raiders.
Colin O’Reilly’s men were unable to build on their impressive midweek win over Worcester Wolves.
Raheem May-Thompson top scored for Cheshire with 19 points but fouled with just over six minutes to go and the game at 74-69 in favour of the visitors.
Josh Wilcher also pitched in against his former team with 17 points and 7 assists in the losing effort.
The Nix made a slow start and never managed to lead throughout the game.
Plymouth closed the opening period with a 7-1 run before their offence began to flow in the second with 30 points poured in.
A three from Daryl Corletto put his side up 14 and the Raiders would still hold a comfortable cushion by half-time with a 10-point lead.
Cheshire started their comeback in the second half and managed to halve their deficit by the end of the third despite starting with a 9-0 run.
The home side were within two twice in the fourth, but were unable to make the breakthrough required and Plymouth kept their opponents at bay with Anton Grady scoring 10 points in the closing stages to seal the win.
Grady led the way with 29 points and nine rebounds for the Raiders as they dominated the paint.
Rhys Carter weighed in with 24 points to help them on their way to a big away victory.
The defeat was Cheshire’s third in their four games at Cheshire Oaks Arena this season.
The Nix fell to ninth in the BBL Championship with a 2-5 record after the weekend round of fixtures.
Elsewhere in the league, Worcester bounced back from their loss to the Phoenix with a 91-84 victory over Manchester Giants.
Leeds Force leapt above Cheshire following their 76-62 win against Surrey Scorchers.
