JETS suffered a weekend of double disappointment in the BBL Championship.
Last Friday, Mike Burton's men hosted the Plymouth Raiders at Northgate Arena and lost 97-91 before being beaten 106-99 in overtime at London United the next day.
Against the Raiders, Alto Virgil led from the front as Jets opened up a 22-10 lead.
Jets led 53-47 at half-time, but the Raiders came back into the game and, through a combination of Andrew Lasker and Carlton Aaron, brought the score level at 72-72 going into the final quarter.
Jets then ran out of steam and fell to a disappointing defeat, Virgil leading all scorers with 27 points.
At London's Space Centre 24 hour later, it was a case of more of the same for the Jets. Having led for almost the entire game, the Jets could not hold on to their advantage and conceded a basket on the buzzer which tied the game at 89-89. In a frantic overtime period, it was the hosts who stepped up a gear and ran out winners. Once again, Virgil was the Jets' game-high scorer, hitting 23 points.
