YOUNG people from Ellesmere Port are being asked to come forward to take part in a three day Street Art Graffiti course at Whitby Park next month.
The course, centred on the Wheel Park facility is for two age groups and will run on August 17, 18 and 19.
Between 11am and 2pm the course is for 11 to 15 year olds and between 3pm and 5pm it’s the turn of the 16 to 20 year olds.
Graffiti artists Buckfiddy and Dime One will be on hand to guide and teach everyone taking part with design, sketch and safety.
“This is a great opportunity for young people to get involved over the summer holidays and use their creativity to craft eye-catching pieces of art works on Wheels Park,” said Cheshire West and Chester Council culture and recreation executive member councillor Richard Short.
“This project follows on from street art workshops held in the park in February and these were very successful.
“Users of the Wheel Park facility will have input into design ideas and suggestions of what they would like to see in the art work.”
