A DARING Wrexham woman chopped off her locks for charity.
Belinda Williams, 43, of Rhostyllen, had her head shaved at LA Hair and Beauty in Penybryn to raise money for Nightingale House Hospice.
Belinda raised £820 in total, which includes £200 from the Royal Mail, where she works.
Sandra Monks, community fundraiser at the hospice, said: “Brenda had previously dyed her hair bright red for Comic Relief and thought that this time she would go one step further and shave it off completely – but this time for her local charity Nightingale House Hospice.
“It’s such a brave fundraising activity and we all admire her charitable spirit.”
The hospice relies on the generosity of the community it serves to meet its £2.55m running costs.
