AN accident on the Holt Road led to a woman being treated for serious injuries.
Police were called at 5.30pm on Wednesday, November 3 to reports of a serious collision on the junction of Holt Road in Wrexham which led to a six-hour closure.
Three vehicles were involved - a Vauxhall Nova, a Mercedes lorry and a Fiat Tempra.
The driver of the Nova, a 75-year-old woman from the Ellesmere area, was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital by ambulance with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Her condition was described as being comfortable.
No one else was treated for their injuries. Traffic was diverted along Commonwood, the back lane that runs parallel to Holt Road.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision, who are asked to contact the Eastern Traffic department on 0845 607 1002.
