AVANTAGE, the company behind the new ‘extra care’ development on Hambleton Way in Winsford, will spend this week getting to know the local community.
A team from Avantage will be talking to the public at Winsford Cross Shopping Centre about its new Hazlemere development from Tuesday-Saturday, May 26-30, and answer any questions they may have.
Claire Henning, sales manager at Avantage, said: “We are really looking forward to getting out and about to meet the people of Winsford. It will be great to meet the people that will form such an important part of our facility over the coming months and years.
“The social activities and facilities at Hazlemere are available for non-residents aged 60 or over to join in, so getting to know the local residents and getting their opinion on which social activities they would like to see at Hazlemere is very important to us.”
Hazlemere will be the fourth of five Avantage developments to open its doors to the over 60s of Cheshire, and contains 106 apartments to buy, part-buy or rent.
‘Extra Care’ housing provides additional support to people living in their own homes, the level of which can be adapted as their needs change. This flexible approach enables the right level of care to be offered to individuals, giving residents the opportunity to remain independent for longer.
The apartments have been designed specifically to offer safe and secure accommodation for people over the age of 60, with 24-hour on-call staff for extra support as and when they require it.
The wide range of social activities and facilities available at Hazlemere include an IT suite, hairdressers, library, restaurant and village hall, which both residents and non-residents are able to use.
