POLICE officers in Winsford are taking to the road to find out what residents want.
Winsford Neighbourhood Policing Teams are holding regular mobile surgeries across their patch, giving people the opportunity to meet their local officers, report a crime, raise issues or ask for crime prevention advice.
A recent pitstop was held on the Glebe Estate by PC Gary Weaver and PCSO Claire Hulse.
They parked the mobile police van outside the Lifestyle Store on Vauxhall Way so residents could stop and chat on their way to the shops.
PC Weaver said: “Neighbourhood Policing is about working with the community to tackle any issues residents have. By holding these surgeries we can find out what the community really wants from its local policing team.
“We encourage as many people as possible to visit us so we can get a wider, more accurate picture of the needs of the community.”
