THOUSANDS of customers at Chester’s Caffè Nero shop were treated to a unique art exhibition organised by art and design students from West Cheshire College.

The ‘Next Generation’ art exhibition featured pieces of art created by Level 2 First Diploma art students.

Now in its seventh year, the exhibition reflects the art and design of India, Africa and South American cultures as well as the architecture of Chester by using paintings, drawings, print and mixed media work.

Ian Prewitt, lecturer in Art and Design at the college, said:

“For the students to create their work and have it displayed in Chester for thousands of people to see is an incredible experience and something that all of the students involved should be proud of.”
