FAMILY fun days have something for sporty youngsters and chocaholics at West Cheshire College.
The college is hosting two free family fun days at its Ellesmere Port and Chester campuses.
The Ellesmere Port fun day, on Saturday, June 23, is open from 10am-2pm and will include a host of activities to entertain visitors.
There will be sporting activities, a bouncy castle, the chance to create your own chocolate wrapping plus an opportunity to interact with the college’s Sim Man – a realistic patient simulator.
The college’s Costa Coffee will be offering free tasters and the winners of the Olympic-themed Animal Art competition, run in conjunction with Chester Zoo and the college’s Little Einstein’s Crèche, will be announced.
The Chester campus fun day takes place on Saturday, June 30, at Eaton Road, Handbridge, also from 10am-2pm.
Visitors will have the chance to build an electrical circuit and have a go at stencilling and wood graining, plus there will be a range of fun experiments delivered by science museum Techniquest.
Sara Mogel, principal of West Cheshire College, said: “When we opened our new campuses in Ellesmere Port and Chester we wanted them to be a place for the whole community to enjoy.
“There are lots of different activities planned so we hope that people will pop in and enjoy the fun!”
