DWR Cymru Welsh Water is investing £550,000 to deliver environmental improvements to the Kingsmill area of Wrexham.

The utility company will begin work on Monday to upgrade the area’s wastewater network, which includes installing new equipment and associated pipework.

The scheme, due to be completed mid-July, will improve the performance of the network and reduce the number of times unscreened storm water is released into the River Gwenfro.

Work will be confined to the land owned by Wrexham County Borough Council off Kingsmills Road.
