TIME-TRAVELLING pupils celebrated Christmas Victorian-style.
Children from The Oaks Primary School, Ellesmere Port, were transported back to a bygone era last Friday. They visited Croxteth Hall in Liverpool’s Croxteth Park to take part in A Victorian Christmas, to help them understand one of the topics of history this term.
Children and staff took on the roles of Victorian servants and spent the afternoon serving Lord and Lady Sefton as they prepared for their Victorian Christmas party.
Teacher Amy Roberts said: “The children had a fantastic time and were invited to join in the festive celebrations at the end of a tiring but enjoyable afternoon.”
