ONE of the star chefs from ITV’s Taste The Nation series is planning a new mission in North Wales.

Royal favourite Graham Tinsley will be re-creating dishes from the TV show at The Gardening Show in Llangollen this summer.

In the past he has woven his culinary magic at a number of royal households, including Highgrove House, St James Palace and Clarence House.

But Graham is currently matching wits and recipes with the likes of Antony Worrall Thompson, Nick Nairn, Ed Baines and John Burton Race in the popular TV show.

Graham, chef/director of the Castle Hotel, Conwy, captains the Welsh sides from Denbighshire and Monmouthshire as they take on teams of amateur cooks from across the UK.

Fans of the television show can see Graham in action in the kitchen theatre at The Gardening Show at the Royal International Pavilion in Llangollen on Saturday and Sunday, June 6 and 7.

He said: “I absolutely adore doing the TV series, it’s fantastic. We have loads of fun.”
