BUDWORTH SC’s junior team cleaned up at the Southport 12-hour National Race.
They won the main trophy itself for first place overall, were the top GP squad and won the Rogerson Trophy for the fastest two laps.
They completed 64 laps, one more than second-placed Royal Windermere and 28 teams entered.
The Budworth team included Andrew Brown, the Topper World Champion; Tom Ditchburn who sails a Snipe and GP14, Katie Greenwood (Topper and GP14), Alex Sharp and Will Williams (both Snipe).
Ditchburn said: “The team had different abilities from different dinghies, but with practice and togetherness they shared the achievement.”
