ADULTS can visit Yale College during Adult Learners’ Week to sample a free taster in a course of their choice.
The college’s festival of adult learning takes place from May 11 to 15 and free tasters will be on offer in a range of subjects from Welsh, art and jewellery making to hospitality and catering and cosmetic make-up.
Visitors can also take a tour of the campus and access vital course, careers and finance advice, as well as visit the nursery facilities for those studying with young children.
“The idea is to give people the opportunity to try out a free course and see just what’s on offer for them at their local college,” said Jane Rayner, marketing officer.
“It’s ideal for anyone who is new to the area or who might have been out of education for some time to come get a feel for the college and what it can offer them.”
Open to adults of all ages from 16 and upwards, learners can sign up for the tasters online at www.yale-wrexham.ac.uk, or phone 01978 317321 for further details.
