FOUR men still at large are wanted by Cheshire Constabulary after being recalled to prison.
The county’s police force was among the first in the country to publish details of 10 offenders who had breached terms of their initial release and have since arrested six men– three from West Cheshire.
Michael Quirk, 24, from Ellesmere Port, Gary Evans, 39, and Colin Shaw, 29, both from Blacon, have all been returned to custody.
Also arrested were two men from Warrington and one from Crewe.
Four men are still wanted by police, including John Alan Parry, 47, from Chester. Intelligence officers at Cheshire Constabulary believe Parry may now be living in Poland and enquiries are ongoing with European authorities.
Det Sup Peter Rigby, of the police’s department of criminal justice, said “We are keen to build on the results we have achieved so far.
“Intelligence gathering has proved fundamental in tracing these individuals. This process is assisted by members of the public who come forward with information about the whereabouts of these men, who clearly have no regard for the law and restrictions that are placed on them as a consequence of their criminal behaviour.”
Also still at large is Anthony Buckley, 26, from Crewe, Polish national Prezemyslaw Gorzelany, 26 and Chinese national Lin Qi Ying, 40.
Cheshire Constabulary has re-released images of those still on the run.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who has any information relating to their whereabouts, or any information that may assist officers in locating the men, to contact 0845 458 0000 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
