DEAR Dave and Dave, WELL, I must admit that you two directors have been under a lot of pressure this week.

The sight of you on Sky Sports News, nervously announcing administration, the last bastions of sense on the board, will stay with me for a long time.

The last few days have been some of the most vital in all the club's 132 years. If you've played it wrong, they could be among the last in all those years.

If the administrators are honest about what we need to do, perhaps, just perhaps, we could come out of this mess.

But Daves, there are a lot of problems aren't there?

Firstly none of the fans' groups can seem to agree about the best way forward.

The Wrexham Supporters Trust seems to be at the throats of the Official Supporters Group about which is the best way to raise money. Methinks it would be a hell of a lot easier if they just worked together.

I mean, for a small club we do seem to have an awful lot of fans groups.

With the attendances we get, there must only be about 10 people in each.

Secondly, we've still got Mark Guterman hanging around. We all know Alex Hamilton's a dead loss who needs to be drummed out of this club as quickly as possible.

But what are we going to do about Guterman?

He still wants to buy the club even though you two don't want to have to deal with him again.

Some would argue he got us into this mess in the first place, and the rumours are that his consortium is backed by - wait for it - a Manchester-based property developer.

Just brilliant... On top of Denis needing new faces, the Football League wanting 10 points off us (surely we could fight that in the courts?), Chester sniffing around our better players and Hector's inconsistency in front of goal, we've got one more thing that's gnawing at me.

Namely, how many people are going to show up on Saturday?

You'd think with all the media coverage we'd be set for a crowd of over 8,000, just to show that the people of Wrexham and the surrounding area care.

But do they, Daves? Or is this just a waste of time?

Yours hopefully, Gil Andrews
