A Runcorn mum is urging women to grab their wings and halo to raise charity cash.
On Sunday, September 7, Cheryl Wright will run in the Adidas Women’s Challenge fun run at Sefton Park, Liverpool, and aims to raise £250 for The National Autistic Society along with other runners dressed as angels.
The charity supports more than half a million autistic people including Cheryl’s three-year-old son.
Registration for the 5km race costs £15 and the NAS asks runners to raise a minimum £100 sponsorship.
Runners will receive a halo, an autism angel T-shirt, and training support for the event.
For more information or to sponsor Cheryl visit www.getmilesmore.org.uk or call 08450 509 001.
The closing date for entry is Friday, August 22.
